Running tactical, staging, and incident command boards were most valuable because they were the most busy/stressful positions for me and it was something I was not used to doing at all. Not only did we learn about these posts, but we actually got hands-on experience to help remember the things we learned.

Course is great as is. Learned a lot that I have not gotten the opportunity to learn in other classes as a deputy. It was also a new experience to work beside fire and EMS in a training environment! I have a better understanding of what each side does during these large incidents. Thank you to each of the instructors, they were all great! Very knowledgeable and good humor which kept the moral up.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Definitely need to take more active shooter courses and courses like this. I am also now interested in learning more about IED's.
