The computer "gaming". As an older individual who has not been involved with video games in 30 yrs, it took extra time to navigate the scenarios.

This course should take agency tatics into consideration for scenarios even though this seems to more of an ICS driven course.

I found that the complex coordinated attack was the most valuable due to it adding all the previous sections together.

I found the section about the barricaded subjects to be less valuable due to the fact that I will not be involved with that through any of my operations as fire/ems.

I believe that overall the coarse is excellent. The only thing that I would add is the further explanation of direct and indirect threat care and the appropriate locations for that to be done.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to see further training between schools and fire/ems in regards to this type of training.

Understanding the structure of command, terminology, and ideal order of events allows a dispatcher to anticipate and understand the needs and requests of the officers on the ground.

The dispatch part of the sims was underwhelming, but understandable due to time and equipment restrictions. Ideally, dispatch should be more encouraged to try different jobs to understand.
