The scenarios were the best part of the class, and are as close to real life situations as you can get.

The lecture portions were informative, and needed, however the least enjoyable.

I think additional training as contact and RTF teams would be very valuable to lower level supervisors and regular officers.

Learning what each position requires, why that position is necessary and what tasks they are expected to ackomplish.

The table top lessons. I just don't learn in this manner.

Maybe spend a small amount of time explaining what each position is and what their expected tasks should be. I felt that I was expected to already know what each acronym meant and what their responsibilities are. I've never been command on anything so I didn't know what my responsibilities were until well into the course.

A more pin point focus on each position for a longer amount of time.

Sometimes the instructors talking to students during scenarios made it hard to hear radios and such. Let the scenario go and correct at the end.
