Initially took time to familiarize with avatar applications and to understand how to use the computers. As a non-gamer it took a bit to catch up to functionality. Maybe some practice of this prior to scenarios would be helpful.

Great instructors. Great class, thank you. I came in with almost no knowledge and being thrown into the tactical medical was overwhelming but forced me out of comfort zone and to learn. Thank you!!.

The hands on practical experience was the most helpful for me. With me being new to the public safety communications arena , this exponentially increased my confidence to jump in during a situation like this.

For the dispatch role, it may be beneficial to turn up the heat and have additional calls for them to manage, like "routine" calls.

Additional training that we can take back to our center and share the information. Also, having this ASIM course come back so more of our first responders can complete it.

The scenarios because hands on always increases the retention of the material.

Being from the fire service we are well versed in incident command so it was a repetitive, but I do understand the need for it as police officers do not receive the same training so it is vital to go over it so we all can be on the same page.

The instructors were great, not only very knowledgeable but interacted with students continuously throughout the 3 day class.

Continuous training on this topic, you can never have to much to be prepared.

Inclusion of fire/police/ems as a team concept.

This should be taught to as many fire and police as possible. The other RTF training has focused on victim rescue and "hands on " drills... This is a much more in depth class on the entire operation.

We need to work on ICS and the branches that evolve with a growing incident.
