I'm a PIO, so learning about how all the moving parts fit together informs what I say to the media.

The practical exercises were very repetitive for the PIOs. Would be more useful if we could incorporate more practical injects or real-time messaging, like social media.

IC should have to call the PIO(s). They won't just show up in real life.

Practical exercises. This was most relevant because this is not something we commonly encounter. It is critical to understand and practice the roles needed for this time of event regardless if you are boots on the ground or command.

One suggestion would be to identify if ASIM basic is a prereq to advanced. I felt there was some redundancy from the powerpoints from this and basic.

This is a great piece to add to the tool box of FD incident command that. Use this to accompany incident command training.
