THERE WAS SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT COMMUNICATING WITH THE SUSPECT WHEN THE ACTIVE SHOOTER BARRICADES. I WOULD SUGGEST SOME TOOLS FOR THE STUDENTS TO HAVE SUCH AS ASKING OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS, TONE OF VOICE, BUILDING RAPPORT ETC.

I WOULD LIKE TO DO MORE OF THE ROLE PLAYING IN THE VARIOUS COMMAND POSITIONS.

The virtual simulations and application of radio traffic. This places the responder in the simulated environment adding a sense of realism to the scenarios.

I think physically separating staging, tactical, command away from responding forces can help eliminate the desire to walk up to the responders, and force use of the radios.

Great class overall! One of the best active shooter classes I have attended.

More FEMA/NIMS related courses and ICS course to better understand and apply incident command.

Developing task force to deal with injured.

Large scale operations that would be used by much larger agencies than here. I fill it would be beneficial if FEMA looked at jurisdiction size and resources and perhaps have this course tailored to large, medium, and small jurisdiction.

Not sure on value of round count and hit in this computer program as it does not simulate real life shooting.
