Computer sim for s non gamer took me a minute to learn - but the computer sim made it more real than most tabletop types.

The ASIM program should include a small map in the corner of the screen similar to other games, which would allow for users to be better acclimated to their environment.

Training in various roles throughout the class.

As someone who currently works in EMS I did not find value in the ambulance or RTF roles. I have already performed extensive training on these and would have benefited from training in different aspects of the program instead.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

The visual aids were poor for the simulations; could not see the details of the maps and the simulations on the computers were difficult to use. The ambulances and RTFs should just spawn at the appropirate locations vs having users drive the vehicles places, this part just caused frustration in those of us who were not able to utilize the program effectively.

In person interagency training.

The hands on learning with the different aspects of command; EX: working in staging and "Fluffy".

Operating as an RTF. I work for an ambulance and I will not be in an RTF. I understand how it works, but being on an RTF is not helpful to me. I am here to transport and keep people alive.
