The as real as possible incident timing and being able to see actual personnel working together in a simulated environment. It was a good lesson to see how fast time can pass in an incident. It made me very cognizant of how fast time passes during an actual incident.

My only suggestion is to explain the school building layout. SInce we live in the cold, we didn't immediately realize the numbers were room numbers rather than building numbers.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Training the remaining staff on our police and fire departments to be on the same page when / if something like this happens locally.

Maps in the corner of the computer screen. It was tough navigating. Many games have that on their screen. Or at least a way to pull up the map through a hot key.

Hands on active shooter training SORD and ALLERT along with regular practicing these skills.
