Assignments as transport and triage, Medical Command Assignments. These are the roles that I would anticipate filling in an incident in my community.

A couple of exercises I was left in staging without an assignment. Those I found myself wandering.

I dont know what to improve. This is the first interactive class on this scale that I've experienced. I'd like to duplicate many of things I've seen. Plexiglass covered Monitors, etc.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

A refresher type system, maybe on an online XBox style gaming platform where similar exercises can be held. I have 100 more people in my department I'd like to see receive this class.

I think the class was very valuable and a great resource for us to bring back to our department's and SOG.

Trying to get more of our departments on board with some of the practices of deploying and using the RTF teams appropriatly.

Being put into leadership positions during various exercises was the most valuable, as I am normally not in these positions. This allowed me to gain a new perspective.

During the simulated computer portions, the time required to place a tournequet on a patient was not realistic. The actual time required in real life is much quicker. This caused delays in triaging patients.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I appreciate practical and realistic training that relates to what I do everyday in my job. Since active shooter situations could happen while I am working, this type of training is the most important to me.

Not having a strong background in fire/ems, at times I didn't really understand it all.

Having actual people call in while we are dispatching and listening to radio traffic would make it more real for dispatchers in the class.

Hostage negotiating for 911 is important and i plan on seeking out through my center or on my own.
