THE SIMULATIONS WERE EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL AND ALLOWED US TO PROCESS LARGE SCALE SITUATIONS WITHOUT THE REQUIRED SPACE OR ROLE PLAYER COUNT.

THIS COURSE IS STRUCTURED VERY WELL AND DOES A GREAT JOB OF OPTIMIZING THE TRAINING EXPERIENCE. I APPRECIATE THAT IT'S LISTED AS A MANAGEMENT COURSE AND THAT IS THE PRIMARY FOCUS INSTEAD OF JUST THE INITIAL RESPONSE PROCESS.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

IF THIS COULD BE PAIRED WITH A TRAIN THE TRAINER TYPE COURSE IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IN PROVIDING GUIDANCE FOR BRINGING THE MATERIAL BACK AND TRAINING DEPARTMENT MEMBERS.

It was all applicable, reinforced training I have had, presented some material in a different way and the practical application was top notch.

Overall very solid best presentation of material I have seen. Love the two presenters during powerpoint.

I looking forward to an ICS all hazards class. I would like to attend this class again at some point. An actual live mock would be interesting as well.

Being able to rotate into the Tactical Command position as it is critical for my position.

Area Command, simply because thats above my level in a real world incident.

Further refinement of the "game" technology. It was an excellent experience to do this type of training in that capacity. The more you can improve that piece, the more valuable it will be.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I stay frequently immersed in the active shooter training realm, so I will continue to seek all available training on the topic regardless.

Working with partner agencies and having those conversations. Some of these conversations haven't been done since before Covid-19.

It was all good.

Possibly look at rotation of staff. I didn't get an opportunity to be in a command position and I think that would have been a benefit. I know some staff wanted more hands on time but spent a lot at the command post.

Brief and impactful lecture reinforced through scenarios guided by instructors. The concrete experience/examples used during each session are key to engaging LEO and first responders. Sustain this and the overall organization and execution of the course.

The barricade was a topic I was already very well-versed and practiced in, but great review.

Although valuable, the bomb/IED portion could be enhanced with bomb-tech or EOD instructors.
