I thought the whole class was valuable, I have not had any training on an active shooter before now.

If we had more dispatchers, I would recommend having the dispatchers move around the room to see how things are done in the field to better serve our LEO, FD & EMS.

Having a better understanding of the overall picture in an active shooter scenario from a variety of perspectives.

I think it could be beneficial to run one scenario with dispatch, law, and ems swapping roles to get a better perspective on what the other branches are dealing with. This would be the only time we could incorporate that kind of training due to the ability to run scenarios on the computer with ease . Its something we would never be able to logistically do without a virtual training environment.

Continuing the practical application of implementing an SOG with what we learned here.
