The radios provided kept interfering locally which made communicating troublesome. Maybe some private channels would help. Wouldn't want people with the same frequency locally hearing a situation that is just practice.

Simulating command positions. It's a good starting point for practicing these scenarios with my department.

Performing RTF, Ambulance, and Intel groups. They were important and valuable but they are easy to take forgranted when playing the simulators. It would have been better if there was a consequence for goofing around, abandoning your team, self deploying, etc.
