The allocation of resources. Simply, because I do not have experience as an emergency responder.

The potential for more hands-on experience and applying it directly to the areas where instructing the course. It may create a more personal experience for some of the attendees.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Training such as this was beneficial for me because I have never been a part of a mass incident scenario. I think that I may now be better prepared to aid my agency if something like this happens in my city. At least, I hope so.

The practical exercises. The more simulated scenarios, the better the participants grasp the concepts.

I understand the Area Command concept. But most people in the class would likely never be involved in Area Command. So it can seem like a far away concept to grasp.

Maybe progress the scenarios and make them even harder on the last day. Force the students to think and work through very bad situations as long as the scenarios are still reasonably likely to happen.

More training that is similar that would involve command and management of serious incidents.

I think there needs to be some type of way to separate each station better. Either a screen or something so that you are not operating so closely. The radio traffic on scene is key for communication. That is really the only thing that needs to be focused on overall.

After action reports would be good and maybe seeing the public debriefing and the scene play out also.

Being placed in higher command positions was very educational, as it is a role that I may, or may not, fill in the real world, but now I have a better knowledge of the expectations of the position, and how to better serve that need.

I don't feel that there was a least valuable area. Every section served a specific purpose.

If it's possible to connect with an existing FPS/gaming company, basing the simulations off of the GTA V engine would be cool.

Further incident command training. Getting more knowledge and reps on how to process information and deploy assets from a higher echelon of command.
