I thought everything was valuable and served a purpose.

I knew this was going to be a good class, but my expectations were blown out of the water. This was absolutely fantastic and I hope I have the opportunity to send my whole unit through it at some point in their time in it.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Continue to build and network with other agencies to eventually come up with a plan to practice and train with some of this new knowledge.

Hands on training with different divisions and fire and Ambulance services.

The course was paced and set up so that everything worked well and I did not have a area that was least valuable.

Only point of confusion was the initial period where some of the FIre and Emergency Terms were unknown to me. I was able to quickly put 2 and 2 together but i wasn't accustomed to the Acronyms at first.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Any training on specific coordination for events here and possibly preplanning events based on what i have learned.

During a scenario when i was in charge of medical staging, i felt like i was rushed due to inexperience and was rushed into some decision making i would have done differenty looking back.

We had multiple resources available which I believe most cases in my area it would take a significant amount of time to gather all of those resources .

Maybe have a small section of the class explain tactics on how to handle situations like these with very limited resources and personnel.

More real world scenario training within my department as far as responding to these situations tactically and more hands on training.

The establishment of a command separate from the staging area initially didn't make sense, but once the concept was practiced, it became apparent why it was needed.

The statistics were the lease valuable, but that is because they are good to know but ultimately are not something that you can rely on in such events. It isn't over until it is over.

Instruction was exceptional. This is the first active shooter training that I have attended that I felt like the instructors were credible and were capable of teaching.

More trauma care/IED identification.
