As a new dispatch manager, this opened my eyes tremendously with the challenges of dispatching active shooter events.

The fact that we were able to work with other first responders such as fire, ems and dispatch in each scenario because it simulates real life scenarios and issues we will run into.

Make it a 5 day course where more time is taken to explain in more details the tasks and main responsibilities of staging, tactical and incident commander roles.
