The handheld radios need to be better. Radios in the real world are bad, sometimes, but they are not THIS bad.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

The C&C side of things is more important for LE and Fire/EMS to work together on than the individual skills (strike team, RTF, reunification, etc). Agencies can train their own personnel on their own time, the interoperability and coordination practice is what is really needed. I would like to repeat this class again instead of seeking out additional training.

I am thankful that dispatch was included in this training. While our role appears to be small, it is not in real life. It is also great to see the FD and Law do their best to work together.

The scenarios were the most valuable and being able to work in multiple different positions.

Aside from fixing some of the bugs in the computer system I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I find that in my position, ICS and classes of this nature are highly valuable and I will continue to seek out trainings of this nature, primarily those that contain practical exercises where the skills that were learned can be applied.

Skill reinforcement from the lessons that were taught.

Need more participant interaction. The instructors would ask a question but then would answer it or just allow for head nods to affirm what they were saying. More vocal participation is integral to adult learning.

Needed more engagement of the EM's. They were not used efficiently and we would have liked to have shown what they can really do in a situation.
