As a ground level EMT, I learned how command worked much better and even though I will most likely not be in a command role knowing the dynamics from a tactical and command level helped me not only understand my role during an active shooter event, but also during MCI events in general.

The practical portions were great from the medical side, as I was able to cycle through each position multiple times allowing me to apply lessons learned from previous exercises. The instructors were very knowledgeable and personable, able to answer all my questions.
