All of the content and practicals were linked and removing one would be detrimental to the other.

Fantastic cadre of instructors.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

A better understanding of the resources on a state and federal level for major incidents and how to access them. Also exercises in preplanning responses to venues that are large and would be difficult to manage in a large scale incident.

The simulations and the way the content was broken up was excellent. The opportunity to immediately apply the material presented in the simulation environment greatly enhanced my learning.

The entire course was valuable. This was a needed training for our area first responders. As a Chief Officer in the fire service, this allowed our law enforcement brothers and sisters come together with our fire department personnel and become united in the same training if an incident of this magnitude ever occurred in our city.

I don't believe any part of the course was least valuable. I was able to learn a lot more on the law enforcement side of how things are accomplished.

This was a great 3 day course that brought a lot of good information to take back to our divisions.

Our city will need to establish policies and bring all of our law enforcement and fire personnel together and be prepared for any future incidents.

The scenarios. They seemed real world capable and helped to enhance the experience and learning.

The length of the course. It would be beneficial to try to stretch it out to 4 days or even a week to go even more in depth on the scenarios, really break them down at the end. It felt rushed at times.

Just lengthening the course to 4 days or a week just to not feel as rushed. It was great information presented in a great way, just would like more time spent on it.

More active shooter training, not just managing, but actually being in it, include dispatch and make it more practical.
