Making it more availible to all agency's. Some smaller agencies do not have the opertunities to take these type of courses and events like this could happen anywhere.

The practical exercises were a great benefit to me. They helped put theory and practice together for me.

All parts were cohesive and needed to in order to supply students with the experience. Although the lecture portion was less exciting, without it the practical portions would not make sense.

Keep the excitement in your instruction. I'm not sure if it is possible, but earbuds would be helpful to assist with radio feedback.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I am now more interested in command level NIMS type courses.

The concept of staging being integrated into the event. It was not something my agency had done previously with law enforcement resources.

The concept of contact teams. My agency practices this portion of active shooter events occasionally.

As law enforcement I had no idea that fire/ems obtained hospital status (how many patients and what type they can accept) during an incident.

Something containing content that involves a haz-mat situation and proper law enforcement response.

The interactive parts were definitely the most valuable. This just worked to reinforce everything we learned through the lectures.

Day two was a little too much. Maybe one less scenario would've been better. This training is definitely intense (which is great) but it may have been a scenario too much.

We need to get all of our department trained this way (this course was just our upper command staff.) Then concentrate on our entire county.

As a Chief, I can say that every portion was equally valuable. If I were able to afford this training, I would have every member of my agency participate in this training. I believe this is eye opening and useful to every member of the department.
