The hands on practical scenarios were very valuable to helping re-enforce the material.

I think that it was all valuable but having enough folks for all of the rigs would have helped.

Maybe being able to separate the computer lab into separate rooms once we got to the CCA's.

I will be looking for an ICS 300 and 400 class.

Lecture, defining the roles and tasks associated with each position.

The simulated practical exercises. A rotation through each of the positions would have enhanced the student's understanding of each position. Being placed on a contact team, RTF, or perimeter for 6 of the 7 scenarios was repetitive and not informative or progressive.

Working hand in hand with police within the ICS structure.

As someone from the FD, l guess negotiating would be least valuable. That being said I still found it valuable to understand the overall process.

One of the best classes that I have had in my 26 years of service. Instructors were very knowledgeable, professional, and able to communicate the material in a manner that all of us could understand.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Going home and working directly my local law enforcement agency to implement the curriculum.

The hands on, I've had a lot of verbal training and classes, but the simulation really makes it stick.

The basic over view of the subject was a repeat for me, but repeat is never a bad thing. It also brings up the knowlege base for everyone in the class so that we are all at similiar knowledge levels.

This class was amazing. Absolutely was above my expectations. Now how do I bring this class to my entire dept of 700+ ???.
