I think this sort of training is most beneficial on a reoccurring basis to build that muscle memory and to coordinate more efficiently with other agencies.

The course advanced my knowledge of tactics and considerations on the scene of an active shooter incident.

Almost zero engagement for emergency management. There were many times EM could have been engaged, beyond just area command, and wasn't.

More involvement from emergency management or take off emergency management as a discipline advertised as appropriate for the course. Modern and professional emergency management has the capability set to assist greater than sit by and say, "we can get help from the neighboring county".
