No initial set up and explanation. It was like we had to already know it and we were here to practice it not learn it.

Training on it before hand. Learning what each position is, and what it does. Then table top. Then a live walk through. This should be more than a 4 hour course.

The hands on training helped drive home the objectives that were being taught.

The material itself. the system seems incredibly disorganized. How is NIMS/ICS not the focal point of command and response to an active shooter incident?.

The instructors did a good job getting the message across, but the system doesn’t seem to be structured in a very organized way.

There needs to be more organization of the practical portion. Why are we not using NIMS? That is what we’re taught a whole careers.
