I really liked the practical aspects of the class where we put what we learned in the power points into action. This was helpful because it gave us physical examples of the flow how of how to set up all the elements during an active threat incident / an incident that would benefit from using this model.

I did not think that there were any parts of the training that were not necessary / valuable.

It would be nice to have Fire / EMS / Police in my jurisdiction come together during an in-service to practice this with radios and in actual buildings.

The table top exercises were great. I think we do not do enough of this type of activity in training. I am an instructor in my agency and we spend a fair amount of time on training tactics/techniques but this training helped me to realize we should do more tabletop type scenarios so everyone understands the big picture and how this will all work together.

Tabletop scenarios were little chaotic with so many moving parts - as would be a real scene, I get that, but maybe slow things down for reps in training so everyone can see/hear what's going on at the different stations. Knowing the basics of what other jobs are doing can help train people in a well rounded way and increase effectiveness. I also understand training time is limited and the slower pace or more reps is not always doable.
