Practical application was the most valuable part. We tend to learn in theory but that exists in a vacuum. Application is the only way to train on it.

The most valuable part was the active scenarios. Having units physically respond to the location and physically locate more closely reflected the real life timeline of these events and how information is passed.

When it came to the multiple incident scenarios, I would have liked to see the same active type scenario as in the main incident in order to more accurately practice the distribution of limited resources.

I would like additional training in hostage negotiation critical incident negotiation training.
