Learning all the different components to an active shooter incident.

The practical aspect. as a dispatcher it didn't feel as realistic since the responding officers more or less talked to each other rather than dispatch.

I think it would be a great idea to have a shorter class for just dispatch and the ways we can better support the responding personnel.

Believe this class made it known that a class on "is the caller the suspect".

Most of the reading material, due to it being directly geared toward police fire and ems personnel.

I would suggest making the scenarios include dispatch more.

The pratical exercises were the most useful to me as a dispatcher. Having to listen to multiple channels, answer the phone and read CAD notes was similar to how it would be at work.

When dispatching squads, it would be useful to have the already dispatched squads either crossed out or greyed out so it is easier to track which squads were already dispatched.
