I believe this course should be longer. Although you learn a lot through the hands on scenario's. I don't believe many individuals had the opportunity to reenact all the moving parts in this course.

Staging familiarization is most helpful to Law Enforcement response.

PIO is a mostly useless position in these classes as most agencies have policies dictating who would operate in such a manner.

I think there should be more tactic training. New Jersey is clearly focusing on a management aspect which does not help the countless young officers in the positions actually responding. The state fails these officers by having little to no tactical training, I feel that the practical exercises should be conducted physically and not in a computer for an incident of this severity.
