THE SLIDES FOLLOWED THE BOOK CHAPTERS VERY CLOSELY, AND THE LECTURES WERE INVAUABLE, SO IT IS WITH THAT THAT I SAY THE NEED FOR TEXTBOOKS IS NO TOO GREAT.

DIRECT CONTACT WITH A POTETIAL HOSTAGE TAKER AND OR KNOWING HOW TO TALK TO SOMEONE LIKE THAT IN THE EVENT THAT THEY CALL INTO A PSAP AND WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY WITH HIM.

Hands on exercises, and being taught about the roles played by everyone involved in active shooter incidents.

Group exercise in which therte were several events that transpired at one time was not practical to the dispatch role because our responsibilities, roles, and operating procedures vary vastly from our DLE and FD counterparts out in the field.

Pseudo units should be available in CAD to accurately depict resources requested and arrival on scene, including rescues, engine companies, hazmat teams, and any other resources we could typicallyt monitor via CAD.
