Staging familiarization is most helpful to Law Enforcement response.

PIO is a mostly useless position in these classes as most agencies have policies dictating who would operate in such a manner.

I think there should be more tactic training. New Jersey is clearly focusing on a management aspect which does not help the countless young officers in the positions actually responding. The state fails these officers by having little to no tactical training, I feel that the practical exercises should be conducted physically and not in a computer for an incident of this severity.

Hands on training with simulated environments and being able to see what was happening in real time and work with peers in real time in the environment. Being able to request something and see it unfold.

Even though the module lectures only included the most important information I feel the participant manual could have included more information.

The group of instructors was outstanding. They really did a great job getting the information out and proved multiple times that they were subject matter experts.
