THE PRACTICAL PORTIONS OF THE INSTRUCTION WERE VERY VALUEABLE...IT MADE SENSE TO BE ABLE TO APPLY WHAT WAS LEARNED IN THE INSTRUCTION BLOCKS.

THERE WAS A GREAT DEAL OF ACRONYMS BEING USED THE FIRST DAY. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO UNDERSTAND IF THEY WERE EXPLAINED UP FRONT. MAYBE DUMB IT DOWN A LITTLE BIT FOR THE POLICE OFFICERS IN ANY GIVEN GROUP.

AT FIRST THE COURSE SEEMED GEARED TOWARS EMA/FIRE/EMT. BY THE SECOND DAY IT STARTED TO BECOME MORE RELEVANT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.

CONTINOUS TRAINING WILL BE NEEDED AS A REFRESHER SO THAT THIS INFORMATION IS NOT FORGOTTEN/LOST.

THERE IS NO NEED TO DISCUSS PRONOUNS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE COURSE. IT WAS AN IMMIDEATE "TURN OFF" TO TRAINING. I WAS HAPPY TO SEE IT WAS ONLY A BLIP ON THE TRAINING INFORMATION AND NOT SOMETHING THAT WAS DISCUSSED FURTHER BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE SPOILED THE TRAINING ATMOSPHERE AND SERIOUSNESS OF IT.
