Lecture material contained up-to-date data and changed what i knew to be "true" about active shooter incidents.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

Dealing with "area command" would most likely be handled with someone well above my rank, however I now have at least a basic understanding of the command structure for these incidents.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

It would be difficult, but having everyone in my agency go throught this training would make the execution of the structure flow more smoothly in an incident.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Need to train with local fire/ems and people from my agency to be able to correctly and esaily implement the command structure. Also need to work on tactics, which is normally the primary area covered in active shooter training.

A lot of it was geared more toward LE, Fire, and EMS. I am dispatch so not much applied to my job. But I still learned a lot.

I thought the course was great as a whole. Very informative. Great entertaining instructors. Awesome class.

I now know a lot of areas my dispatch center needs work in case an active shooter incident occurs in our jurisdiction.
