The cross training exercises were excellent. The ability to work with others in my region was invaluable.

More attention could be given to where different skill levels are initially assigned. Throwing a deputy into scene command for the first exercise is maybe less effective than sending him with an RTF.

OPen-ended questions as an instructional method have been repeatedly found to be ineffective. Teach, then ask.

Incident command and looking at the 10,000 ft view.

I found it hard to have tactical away from incident command, and too much radio traffic. I think that tactical and incident command should be married to have face to face contact.

Excellent knowledge of the course and working with the students.

Bringing what I have learned back to my agency, and more inter-agency training within our county.
