I found the map and chips that were used on the projector as a great tool. The instructors were able to demonstrate and explain the steps that were going on during the active shooting scenario.

The least valuable was the number of recruits to do this assessment made it harder to hear communication and see al the steps.

The part of the course that was the most valuable was how the first responding trooper should act on scene. This was valuable because it is very possible that I could be the first person to arrive.

The part that was the least valuable was the first arriving supervisor. I am not ranked high enough to be a supervisor and that role does not apply to me.

I would focus on how the 5th man. It was a confusing part for me because they took over control of the scene but remained on the outside.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Basic medical training will be important to me because I should be able to provide basic care to an injured individual.
