It was nice to actually use real radios to simulate the communication issues we would face in a real life situation. I liked the scenarios as it was very nice to see all roles being used in the room yet also seperate.

It would have been nice as a dispatch role to be able to be switched around into the scenario so we could see what was happening "in the field".

I wish dispatch was a little more included. No one came to check our work at all after the scenario.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I think a negotiation class would be helpful in the future from this.

The live scenarios. They most accurately portrayed a real situation.

As a member of dispatch, the "dispatch" roles of the scenarios were very inaccurate and did not actually portray their role in emergency responders.

A more accurate experience for dispatch. Better tracking of available units and actual "dispatching" of all units. The pre-selected groups of responders that were all dropped in together completely removed dispatch from the scenario and took away their expertise from the situation.

If it is possible to tailor the scenarios more towards how specific agencies would respond. For example using radio channels that appropriately reflect how agencies would use. For Dane County Police is on one channel, Fire/EMS is on a sperate channel at all times.
