Multiple practical exercises. Repetition is useful.

Lectures. Some parts, while informative, seemed more geared for LE.

Dispatch would be better served in a round table environment. We normally work in the same room and communicate with each other. It is difficult to talk down the table. It may be practical to place dispatch to be in a different room, sometimes the exrcises got distracting.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to attend alert training.

Understanding the infostructure of communication in dispatch and in the field.

The heavy material related to ems/police/fire and minimal material for dispatch. Not necessarily in the course material but dispatch could be separated from other responders and listen to 911/dispatch/radio audio from past shooter/bomb events.

Personally, I am looking to advance my fire/medical dispatching skills.
