It seemed there wasn't enough time to go through the instructional phase of the course. More time dedicated to that would have helped me understand the practical exercise better. More time also would have allowed us to perform more practical exercise reps, which would have helped my comprehension. Overall, the instructors were very knowledgeable and supportive. I just wish we ahd more time. Thank you!.

More advanced role and table top exercises.

Overall I enjoyed this class and the instruction. I believe it is a great way to promote agency agreement into practical applications. It also promotes cross training at the command level with Fire/EMS and Police. Something we do not do enough of.

Practical scenario training with other LE agencies and FIRE/EMS.

This course afforded me the opportunity to fill different leadership roles and apply them. Learning these different roles helped me to gain trust in entire process and trust in others to ensure this command structure solves the solutions at hand.

THERE WAS SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT COMMUNICATING WITH THE SUSPECT WHEN THE ACTIVE SHOOTER BARRICADES. I WOULD SUGGEST SOME TOOLS FOR THE STUDENTS TO HAVE SUCH AS ASKING OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS, TONE OF VOICE, BUILDING RAPPORT ETC.
