Great class, excellent instructors. I recommend considering sending out a brief overview of the various roles students will fill. Have students complete that overview a few days before training and it will help understanding the roles quickly the first day.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Ensuring line level officers at my PD attend SORD and similar trainings. A brief overview of this would be good for all officers, too.

Have dispatch participate longer (perhaps 10 mins) before staging is established. Establishing the staging so early seems unrealistic for our area.

Honestly, all of it. We are so frequently trained to neutralize the threat, but were lacking in rest.

For me personally, I would like to have a week for this course. the information is necessary, but I needed more time and repetition to process it all.

I would take this again. More importantly I would like to have our supervisors all attend this training. It should be mandatory.

Give more time to the scenarios starting out. Let students hot wash with instructors in more detail regarding what is expected in the duties of command, tactical command. What to log on marker board.
