Hearing about how Fire/Ems will be communicating with LE during major incidents. As a 911 calltaker it's good to know how people are communicating and understanding the same info in the field.

The use of case studies and real world examples made the information easier to consume.

The use of the pseudo CAD system brought a level of complexity that did not seem to benefit the training the same as the LE/Fire/EMS/Flight simulator did for lost participating in those roles.

The ability to role play on the EMS/Fire side made things more understandable for what would be considered necessary information to disseminate as either a call taker, dispatcher or floor supervisor.

Working on further training in negotiating or critical incident dispatch.

I enjoyed seeing all moving aspects in the field, which is extremely helpful as a dispatcher where I don't get to see what's happening.

It would have been more realistic to only have one dispatcher working a channel versus two, as most times we dispatch/document alone.

I would suggest having all participants be on the same page about how they call each other on the radio. It did get confusing as some would say their unit first and then who they were trying to reach, or vice a versa.

I believe all the parts were valuable to me due to being a dispatcher and we can see how all the operation works and vise versa.

There wasn't one part that I could say was least valuable, since dispatch take part in all scenarios and we are the ones that dispatches it.

The class was amazing and it has taught me a lot in reference on what should dispatch do and can do in situations.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Learning more about negotiation part as far as dispatch should we have to do that when the suspect calls in. Dispatch would need training on how to handle this.

Being able to better understand what the Law enforcement, Fire, and EMS are experiencing on scene. These scenarios were eye opening.

Understanding responsibilities during initial scenario as dispatch supervisor. During the first scenario dispatch supervisor would be dispatching on channel 1. However, after all squads were dispatched channel 1 would then remain silent. Would have like to know if dispatch supervisor was supposed to switch to channel 3 afterwards to assist the Law Enforcement Dispatchers.

Communicating During a Crisis and how reunifications process would work with no previous knowledge on the matter.
