The practical application of the active threat process and steps helped demonstrate what each role entails and how the 3 T's work with their own team and together to make effective communication.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

The practical scenarios was not as helpful to me as it was to other recruits. There were too many of us in the training group so not all of us were able to get involved. Additionally, it was hard to see and hear what was going on from the sides. There was a lot going on at once from all different directions and distances so it was hard to follow along. However, the instructors would relay to the rest of the class what was going on on scene.

A suggestion that I have is to do live scenarios so we can be more prepared in real life situations.
