It was difficult to see where dispatch fit into the scenarios, other than dispatching the initial call and reminding everyone to go to staging. I imagine we would be busy paging MABAS cards and answering non-stop phone calls.

Involving dispatch more and having more real life incidents - more phone calls to dispatch as if we were actually working a regular shift.

I got the most out of doing the practical , hand's on part with dispatch. This was a great class and I had a lot of fun learning.

**For dispatch only** Having dispatch involved more in the role playing scenarios. "Actual" phone calls like the barricaded subject where dispatch could relay the information directly to command.

The involvement of dispatch in the exercises.

No parts of the course were invaluable, but certain portions of the course were just not applicable.

While dispatch is understandably hard to simulate, I feel that the most valuable practice is somehow simulating the stress we would be under with not only the incident, but other calls in the background. I don't know how you'd simulate that, but something to consider.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to have a more thorough understanding of ICS as a whole, as well as how dispatch fits into large incidents.
