As the PIO it was beneficial to gain greater understanding of field operations and response to a large-scale incident and cca.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

It would have been helpful for my position to have the development of agency message be more true to life. The PIO portion was rushed and being the only PIO present didn't allow for coordination with counterparts that is necessary in this type of response.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

Ensuring there are more than one PIO present. Perhaps a message board or someway of simulating social media messaging to engage PIO more into the exercise. Also, including PIO feedback in the debrief.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

PIO coordinated response that also provides information on what federal resources are available to enhance messaging capabilities.
